Authorship and Contribution Statement
Authors are those persons who have made a significant contribution to the process of researching, writing, submitting and revising the manuscript, in accordance with the Contributor Roles Taxonomy (CRediT), without which it would not have been possible to publish the research. Authors are asked to state in their submission the contribution or role of each author in the manuscript, using the form available in the Author Guidelines.
Every author must read and take note of the manuscript submitted. Authors are expected to:
- have made substantial contributions to the conception or design of the work, or to the acquisition, analysis or interpretation of data, or to the creation of new software used in the work, or to have drafted the work or substantially revised it;
- have approved the version submitted (and any amended version involving the author's contribution to the study);
- have agreed to be personally accountable for their own contributions and to ensure that questions relating to the accuracy or integrity of any part of the work, including those in which the author was not personally involved, are appropriately investigated, resolved and documented in the literature.
Authors are listed in the order previously agreed among themselves and must provide the following information:
- Name (it is suggested that the signature format used across all their scientific output be applied, for example the name recorded in ORCID).
- E-mail address.
- Affiliation, including the city and country associated with the affiliation.
- Author's ORCID identifier.
- Brief narrative biography.
The author who submits the manuscript and uploads the associated documents to the journal's platform is understood to take on the role of corresponding author and is therefore responsible for correspondence throughout the editorial process. The consent of all authors is thereby understood to have been given, and all of them must undertake to maintain these conditions until a final decision is taken to accept or reject the work for publication.
A) Group authorship
The Revista de Estudios y Experiencias en Educación (REXE) accepts a maximum of five authors per article. Where a contribution includes a greater number of authors, the corresponding author must provide a reasoned justification explaining the situation, which will be assessed by the editorial team to determine whether it is appropriate.
A group or team of authors should appear as a co-author only if it meets the criteria set out above. The individual authors who jointly make up the author group must have contributed significantly to the research and to the preparation of the manuscript. Otherwise, the group or its members must be duly named in the Acknowledgements section. If the group meets the criteria for co-authorship, a list must be included of each person together with their contributor role and their principal affiliation.
B) Contributors
The corresponding author accepts responsibility for including as authors all those persons who meet the authorship criteria.
Contributors who do not meet the authorship criteria must be duly acknowledged in the article in the Acknowledgements section.
C) Sources of funding
Authors must specify the sources of funding for the research from which the submitted manuscript derives, stating the body or person that funded it and, where necessary, the funding code or identifier.
