Submission Preparation Checklist
All submissions must meet the following requirements.
- Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
- The submission file is in Microsoft Word format.
- Authors' CV.
- Key data.
- Declaration of originality.
- Final statements.
- The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration.
- The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
- The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements summarised in the Author Guidelines, which are found in About the Journal.
Copyright Notice
On submitting the manuscript, and whether or not it is accepted for publication, authors agree to retain ownership of the copyright in the work, which means that they retain their economic rights. Likewise, should it be accepted, they authorise the Revista de Estudios y Experiencias en Educación (REXE) to carry out the first publication of the work and to assign it a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International Licence (CC BY 4.0), which allows third parties to share, adapt and redistribute the content, provided that appropriate credit is given to the original authors and to the journal.
Privacy Statement
The Revista de Estudios y Experiencias en Educación (REXE) is committed to protecting the privacy of the personal data of its authors, reviewers, readers and any other contributor who interacts with the journal. Any personal information collected through forms, e-mails or other official channels will be used solely for purposes connected with the management and publication of manuscripts, communication with those involved in the editorial process, the dissemination of scientific content and the strengthening of the academic community associated with the journal.
The Revista de Estudios y Experiencias en Educación (REXE) undertakes that data will be kept confidential and processed in accordance with the personal data protection legislation in force in Chile, the country from which the journal is published.
Access to this information will be restricted to editorial staff and other participants directly involved in the review and publication process, always subject to a duty of confidentiality.
The Revista de Estudios y Experiencias en Educación (REXE) collects statistical information on visits to and use of the platform, exclusively for analytical purposes and in order to improve the service offered to the academic community. These data are gathered anonymously and do not involve information capable of personally identifying users. Any sensitive data required for editorial management will be handled with appropriate technical and administrative safeguards, so as to prevent unauthorised access to, alteration of or unlawful disclosure of the information.
The Revista de Estudios y Experiencias en Educación (REXE) will not use the data for commercial purposes unrelated to its editorial activity, nor will it transfer them to third parties without the express consent of the person concerned, except where required by law or ordered by a competent authority. Should the journal update or amend these guidelines on the use of information, it will communicate the changes in good time, always keeping the protection of privacy as a fundamental principle of its practice.
