Conflicting of Interests Policy
The Revista de Estudios y Experiencias en Educación (REXE) sets strict criteria for avoiding conflicts of interest during the manuscript review process.
Authors must submit a fully anonymised version of the manuscript that does not allow the identification of authors, institutions, individuals or sources of funding.
The peer review process of the Revista de Estudios y Experiencias en Educación (REXE) is double-blind, which guarantees objectivity throughout, since neither authors nor reviewers will know each other's identity.
The Revista de Estudios y Experiencias en Educación (REXE) ensures that anonymised communication between authors and reviewers meets the appropriate academic criteria as regards comments on and assessments of manuscripts.
The Revista de Estudios y Experiencias en Educación (REXE) guarantees that there are no conflicts of interest in the peer review process and has established the following criteria to that end:
- Reviewers selected for their expertise in the subject of the manuscript must have previous scientific publications on the chosen topic.
- Before the review process begins, its double-blind nature will be verified, so as to ensure that authors and reviewers do not know each other's identity, guaranteeing objectivity in the handling of the manuscript.
- On the basis of the reviewers' opinions, a consensus will be reached with the editor in order to determine jointly whether the manuscript is accepted without changes, accepted with changes (minor or substantial) to be made by the authors, or rejected. Authors will receive that decision from the editor.
- Authors must hold all the permissions needed to disclose any information that includes the name or mention of other entities or persons. They must also clearly state any relevant earlier results used in the research, together with the corresponding informed consent. They must likewise expressly mention or thank the sources of funding and the persons who collaborated in carrying out the research.
