REXE subscribes to Crossref's CrossMark initiative, which provides a standardised system for identifying the current, official version of scientific articles.

By incorporating the CrossMark button, REXE reaffirms its commitment to the integrity, transparency and reliability of the scholarly record, guaranteeing its readers access to the most up-to-date version of published content.

Within this framework, the journal undertakes to keep its editorial material up to date and to give timely notice of any post-publication changes, such as corrections, updates or retractions.

The CrossMark icon allows readers to check the current status of a document and to access further relevant information, such as funding data and the ORCID identifiers of the authors, where these are available. It also makes it easier to trace the changes made, safeguarding the transparency of the editorial process in line with international good practice.
