Research Data Policy
In order to promote transparency, reproducibility and integrity in scientific activity, the Revista de Estudios y Experiencias en Educación (REXE) encourages the deposit of the research data associated with the work being published. Where authors are willing to share the data generated or analysed in their studies, they must state this expressly in the manuscript and provide the exact reference of the repository or external source where the data are available. This step ensures that other researchers can verify and reuse the results reliably and effectively, thereby strengthening the advancement of knowledge.
Authors are recommended to share their datasets in open, reliable repositories recognised in their respective disciplines, provided that this does not breach legal requirements or confidentiality commitments. It is likewise essential to describe the structure and format of the data, using appropriate, standardised metadata that make them easier to locate and understand.
Where it is impossible to make the data publicly available because of confidentiality agreements, the protection of sensitive information or ethical restrictions, this must be explained in the manuscript.
It is the authors' responsibility to guarantee the accuracy of the datasets, as well as the proper safeguarding of personal or sensitive information. They are also expected to comply with all national and international regulations applicable to the management and dissemination of research data.
The Revista de Estudios y Experiencias en Educación (REXE) will view compliance with this policy favourably and reserves the right to request clarification or further information on the data presented, with a view to strengthening the transparency and credibility of the scientific studies it publishes.
